E-City Index

The eCITY Index is a strategic planning tool that enables a local government organisation to assess the sophistication of its existing ICT infrastructure and to measure its effectiveness in helping to deliver services. Furthermore, it allows for comparison with the indices of other organisations.

The tool is the result of a 3-year research programme, initiated and led by BusinessLab following discussions with some of the Scottish cities on the value and strategic importance of our city councils as exemplars of electronic service delivery.
